Is it okay to blend fruit with my shake?

If weight loss is part of your goals, it is always better to eat fruit rather than drink it. Blending fruit breaks down and alters the effects of the fiber, making it digest more quickly. If you feel that adding fruit is necessary, focus on using as little as possible and using fruits with smaller insulin spikes (i.e., berries vs. bananas or mangos).
