Do I have to give up my coffee?
No, you don’t have to give up coffee, but it is important that you leave out sugary creamers. In fact, as long as you’re drinking black coffee, you can even use it as a “snack” between meals.
If you don't enjoy straight black coffee, you might think about the following ideas:
- You can add 1–2 tablespoons of unsweetened almond milk or anything from skim to 2 percent milk to your coffee. (If you decide to add milk, make sure you drink your coffee during meal time).
